What to ExpectMercy’s mission to lead with dignity and respect is a perfect match for my heart as an artist. My work has always centered on finding the honest and genuine spirit of the person in front of the lens. I approach every subject with the kind of empathy that lets their true self shine through because I believe every community deserves to be seen with real honesty. This is exactly why I feel such a strong connection to this project.
I’m excited to partner with my friends at Proper Medium to bring this campaign alive! We’ve spent the last 10 years working side-by-side on photography and video campaigns for CARE, American Cancer Society, and Ashton Woods to name a few. Because we’re friends and also collaborators, there’s a trust and vibe on set that creates a calm and fun atmosphere while we get to make meaningful work.
❋ Still PhotographyI feel equally at home setting up a stylized, lit portrait on-location as I am working in a pure journalism setting with only natural light. Whether we are building a "studio" in a community room or capturing candid moments as they happen, my focus is always on the honesty of the subject. I’m comfortable toggling between these styles to make sure we get a diverse range of imagery that feels both professional and deeply personal.
❋ Video ProductionWe operate as a tight, high-functioning team: a two-person creative crew alongside a dedicated producer to keep the logistics moving smoothly. By shooting on RED cameras, we’re able to bring a top-tier cinematic look to the project without the bloat of a massive crew. This allows us to stay nimble and low-profile on-site while still delivering the kind of high-fidelity footage that stands out.
❋ Anthem Video EditThe final anthem film is designed to be a heavy-hitter for your fundraising efforts. We’ll weave together the best moments from Denver and Seattle with professional graphics and a curated score to create an inspiring, emotive piece. The goal is to move the viewer and clearly communicate the impact of your work, making it a powerful tool for driving major financial donations and community support.
